this is for those of you concerned about this as i was, ill try to make this short and sweet! much thanks to @starryfeline for helping me with this DeviantArt is now starting a program that uses all of our art for use in generating AI art. you are automatically opted in. there are currently 2 ways i know of that you need to do to opt out. the first thing is to opt out of 3rd party use of your artwork to generate AI art. to do this, go into your user settings and check this box then youll want to access their google form to opt out any online usernames you may have from being used by their DreamUp program to generate AI art in your art style. i dont consider this the end of the issue, but it is a step in the right direction. its still unclear to me if everything posted here is being used to help DreamUp generate ai art, or if that was part of the opt-out in user settings. either way, its an incredibly shady move to opt everyone in in the first place, as those who no

Wow, they've changed stuff here, have to Google search to figure out how to work the site now. I haven't been on here much the past several years, my brother keeps harassing me about my last journal post. So here, I've changed it. *nyah* Yes, I did get the Larry Elmore book, I did read/look at it, it is very good. :) Haven't had much interest in drawing since my dad passed away 6 1/2 years ago. Ellen Million Sketch Fest keeps me drawing once a month, but I have lacked the oomph to really get into it. Sketches are easy, finishing them, not so much. I did get into knitting/crochet for a few years, but then I moved, and got chickens...and now all I am interested in are chickens! There are SO many cool kinds! I never knew! I haven't posted a journal entry since last year!  Larry Elmore's Big Art Book should be going out pretty soon, I anticipate slowly perusing the pages of that. I am still involved with Sketchfest, and reached my goal of doing 100 sketches (May 2013), though I haven't finished them all yet.  I had to take a break from drawing after all those, also it is easier to start a drawing, much harder to finish it!
